My Story Contd
As a little kid too young for school, while getting dragged along on Mom's errands, we would visit this place, The Bank.
It captivated me. It's dazzling ornamentation, soaring high volume, and intricate detailing had me hopelessly under it's spell! When I discovered that 'architects made these places', my journey was set, and I decide I would do that!
​
In my small town I had no resources to figure out who these people were. I honestly didn't know how or what an architect did. I created my own curriculum in high school. I didn't even know there were architecture magazines until after my enrollment into architecture school. I just knew I loved it! Turned out that instinct was right, it fit me like a glove.
Grew up in the Midwest, attended school in Arizona, spent a decade in Hawaii, and then returned to my roots in AZ. ​​I've been lucky enough to work in many different arenas of the architecture profession. That has provided me with a unique catalog of experience to draw upon. A strong art background along with generous creativity and desire provides me with a firm foundation to excel at this craft. I will not shy away from any challenge. You will see that I put passion into my work, and firmly believe we can have fun and still work very hard. It's truly a joy and an honor to be able to improve peoples homes & work places, their spaces, their living environments, and therefore their lives!
